Rituals are very important for young children and they are likely to be things that they will look back on fondly.
Some different types of holiday rituals you may want to try with your children are:

Making: There are so many creative things to make during this time of the year. Cards for family and friends, snowmen or snow flakes are popular choices.
Baking: Family recipes, new recipes, and fun, sticky finger recipes!
Eating: Getting your child to help set the table for your special meal and enjoying the meal together make the event a memorable one.
Connecting: Calling grandparents to wish them all the best or getting on Zoom with an aunt or uncle to thank them for the gifts they received.
Donating: Having your child pick a toy or canned food to donate to charity.
You can of course create rituals at any time of year, for example, birthdays, Mother’s Day and Father’s Day. Most importantly enjoy your time together and make special memories together!
